New application deadline: Spring Exhibition 2020!

Due to next year's exhibition dates, the deadline for the Spring Exhibition 2020 is set for October 1st 2019. There will also be launched a new portal in August where the applications are to be submitted. 
ABOUT THE SPRING EXHIBITION

The Spring Exhibition was established in 1976 by approval of FFF’s annual general selection. As an opposition to The Autumn Exhibition, The Spring Exhibition was to be organised by FFF to ensure the inclusion and exposure of lens-based art practices in the contemporary art field. It is an annual group exhibition based on open submissions selected by a jury of fellow part professionals. Since 2010, The Relief Fund for Visual Artists (Bildende Kunstneres Hjelpefond) have annually announced and awarded the Art Photography Prize, Norway’s largest art photography prize, to the most significant artist displayed at the exhibition. 

WHO CAN APPLY?
The jury selects participating artists via an open application process. All artists actively working in Norway can apply. Submitted works should have relevance to the camera based field of art, but all techniques and materials are welcome. There are no requirements for FFF-membership in order to apply the Spring Exhibition.

The jury is appointed by Forbundet Frie Fotografer's General Assembly.

BKH'S ANNUAL ART PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE
One of the participating artists will be awarded the Prize for photograhic art (fotokunstprisen) by Bildende Kunstneres Hjelpefond (BKH). The award ceremony will take place during the exhibition opening. The prize of NOK 150.000,- is given to the artist with the work considered the most remarkable for the exhibition by a separate jury.

ARTIST FEE
Participating artists receives exhibition fees according to state rates. FFF does not cover the artists' production costs, but do however try to cover the costs for pick-up of works after the exhibition period has ended.
