The summer exhibition of the year have been given the title 'DENNE TIDEN AV ÅRET' ('This Time of Year') and showcases works by the internationally re-known photographer Dag Alveng. The exhibition opens Saturday 22nd of June at 1pm.
Bomuldsfabriken is proud to present some of Alvengs most famous series; New York 2 1/4, This is MOST important, Racing, Summerlight og Wilse.

Dag Alveng (b. 1953, Oslo) lives and works in Oslo and Holmestrand, Norway. He is known to be one of Norway's most showcasing photographers. He was one of the founders of Fotogalleriet in the 70's and an important visionary for photography as an artform. His works have been shown in numerous solo- and group exhibitions all across the world. His photographs are represented in permanent exhibitions in the US and the world, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art og the Museum of Modern Art (New York), Museum Folkwang (Essen), Sprengel Museum (Hannover), Stedeijk Museum (Amsterdam), Moderna Museet (Stockholm), Nasjonalmuseet (Oslo), og Henie-Onstad Kunstsenter (Bærum).
