BIO

I have focused on working with staged photography ever since graduating with a Master of Photography from the KMD in Bergen in 1997.

My background from theatre, as well as my education from the Institute of Photography in Bergen in the early 1990s, has obviously helped define my artistic expression where staged photography is particularly present. I used staging as a method in my work. The images are imagined scenes, like excerpts from a story, or as film stills. The story lies hidden in the photography, within the very observer, or perhaps a completely different place.
