Kim Jakobsen Tô is a Norwegian-Vietnamese photographer, currently living between Oslo and Mexico City. After being a performance artist working with the 'the queer body' in Norway, he studied Photography (BA) under Anna Fox at UCA Farnham, and spent 15 years in London.
His work mainly revolves around identity and subculture. Interested in the idea of the performance of the self, he is looking at communities such as queer communities, cosplayers, historical re-enactors and spiritual groups where the notion of identity is split between everyday utilitarian lives and utopian dreams.
